Welcome

HELLO BUSKERS AND FRIENDS OF BUSKING!

They say the cold weather brings out the best in us and it's probably true. Singers sing louder, and players play true. Dancers and jugglers and balloon twisters too. The town is alive with people and the people are alive with street culture. In the Pike Place Market the beat goes on with piano on the corner and a capella
by the coffee shop, with frozen fingers on the saw and old-time music. The new section is open for business and you can see the mountains real clear from there. Outside the Market the whole town is open - people play plastic bucket Ginger Baker drum solos, drop free style over homemade beats, and play Coltrane sax above the traffic jam. So don't let the world tell you not to, or the expectations of the normal say to stay indoors and wait for the phone to ring. Nobody has to right to define your credibility except you.
